To make your indoor sessions more enjoyable, you can listen to music or watch a video. A simple smartphone is enough, and handlebar mounts are easy to find. A tablet or a laptop offers a better viewing experience, and it’s even more comfortable if you can set yourself up in front of a TV screen.
Since the Covid period, YouTube has been full of videos designed for home‑trainer sessions, which helps vary your workouts and avoid monotony. It’s also useful to keep a small space next to your bike for a towel and a drink within easy reach.
If you choose a connected home trainer, there are both free and paid apps available. I’ve tested several free ones: the best for me is MyWhoosh. But in my daily routine, I simply prefer watching videos on YouTube.
